ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Design and develop a platform which collects billions of data from social channels every month
  • Participate to all phases in product development process including analyzing user requirements, designing system architecture, coding, testing and deployment
  • Work with BA and PO for Social Listening product development
  • Coach developers in technology and quality control

Report to: Technical Director/ CTO
Promotion: Can be promoted to Technical Architect, Technical Manager (Technical roadmap)

REQUIREMENTS

• • 7+ years of experience in backend software engineering, with strong hands-on experience building and operating production systems. Experience with Node.js is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong experience in designing and developing large-scale, data-intensive, or high-throughput systems, with a deep understanding of scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Strong knowledge of system design and distributed systems, including asynchronous processing, concurrency, fault tolerance, horizontal scaling, data consistency, and failure recovery.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex systems, identify performance bottlenecks, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and make sound technical decisions.
  • Strong experience in database architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization across relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Solid experience with message queues, event-driven architectures, or distributed messaging systems, such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience with caching and in-memory data stores, such as Redis, including an understanding of caching strategies, consistency, and performance trade-offs.
  • Experience with search technologies, such as Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, or equivalent systems, is a plus.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience designing clean, maintainable, and evolvable software architectures.
  • Good knowledge of Linux-based production environments, including troubleshooting and performance investigation.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, including leading technical decisions, reviewing system designs and architecture, mentoring engineers, establishing engineering practices, and driving complex technical initiatives from design to production.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing, data pipelines, data collection, web crawling, or systems integrating data from multiple external sources is a strong plus.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• • Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Good English communication skills, with the ability to read technical documentation, research technical topics, write technical materials, and participate effectively in technical discussions.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to drive technical initiatives from problem identification and solution design through implementation and production operation.
